Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon casein protein powder or pea or rice protein powder
  • 1 Tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 1 Tablespoon unsweetened baking cocoa or raw cacao powder
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut sugar or Sucanat or organic cane sugar OR ½ Tablespoon agave or honey
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds or roughly chopped peanuts (your choice)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the protein powder, peanut butter, cocoa, sugar, and chia seeds/nuts.
  • Slowly add water, one tablespoon at a time, stirring between each addition. This prevents a soupy mess.
  • Adjust water until the mixture reaches a thick, well-blended consistency.
  • To make it gluten-free, ensure all ingredients are certified gluten-free.
  • For dairy-free and vegan options, use plant-based protein powder and ensure other ingredients are dairy-free.
  • Once blended, transfer the mixture to the freezer for 15-30 minutes until firm.
  • Serve chilled. Top with fruit for added flavor and nutrition. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

The longer you leave it in the freezer, the thicker it will be. Experiment with toppings like berries or sliced bananas for variety!
